Main Highlights of Phillips’ Important Watch Auction Spring 2016

Aurel Bacs, who runs Bacs & Russo - the company in charge of the watches' sales for Phillips -, picked up 6 models among the 238 lots going to be proposed on the 15th of May. Among them, 4 models come for the first time to an auction. So it will be the best test for these as the public will decide how much they are worth. All the 6 models are super rare.

For instance, the Audemars Piguet chronograph reference 5020 is one exemplar among the only 286 produced between the 30's and the 50's. Or the Vacheron Constantin Ref. 4907 Chronomètre Royal in white gold, which is an observatory chronometer, meaning a highly precise model. The variety of models and their quality make this sale attractive. More than only watches, it is first a matter of watch culture with pieces that are iconic testimonies of certain eras within the most respectable watch brands.

If you want to know more about all the lots on auction or even participate and bid online, don't hesitate to visit Phillips' website.
