Jean-Claude Gueit, Watch Stylist at Piaget – Design Saga 2

He is now retired, but Jean-Claude Gueit continues to paint earrings and necklaces as well as landscapes and boats in his studio near Geneva. Before that, Jean-Claude Gueit spent almost all of his career at Piaget, creating almost all of the brand's watches and jewels since the 1970s and retiring in 2013. He lived during a special era in Geneva as artistic competitions used to reward the best of local creators. Gérald Genta, Gilbert Albert, and Jean-Claude Gueit regularly won prizes. We stopped in at Jean-Claude Gueit's workshop to listen to what a respected and kind creator remembers about his career.
